Welcome to Brettles Farm

Situated on the Worcestershire Shropshire border between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth, Brettles Farm is 175 acres of grassland with woods and a lake. It is 400 feet above sea level with great views of the North Worcestershire countryside. Once part of the old Wyre Forest, the soil is heavy red clay/loam over sandstone which is appreciated by the many mature oaks which give the farm a parkland feel.

Margie and Mark Rushbrooke have farmed at Brettles for 34 years, increasingly specialising in Pedigree Livestock. The Farm is now all pedigree and home to five different livestock enterprises:

Brettles South Devon Cattle
Brettles Charollais Sheep
Perrymill Jacob Sheep
Brettles Lleyn Sheep
Brettles Alpacas

The basic aim with all is to maintain a closed flock or herd, only buying in replacement males to introduce new bloodlines.

Click on any of the pictures on the left of this page to find out more about each of these enterprises. Within each section you will find details of the history of the herd or flock, health status, current breeding stock, stock for sale, news and performance recording.
